What is a Walk-in Clinic?

A Walk-in clinic is a place for quick medical interventions where you can receive medical care without needing to schedule an appointment in advance. It is ideal for quick consultations and treatment of minor medical issues such as headaches, fever, or cough. For minor injuries like cuts or sprains, you can simply show up and expect prompt care.

For parents with young children, this means a quick response to common childhood illnesses such as sore throats or ear infections without long waits in the waiting room.

Business people can address their health needs via phone calls, messages, emails, or by having our staff visit their workplace without significant disruption to their workday.

Additionally, if you get injured and need wound cleaning and dressing, or sutures, or if you have chronic wounds or post-operative wounds, we are the right choice for you.

Choose us for a healthcare service that saves your time and provides you with quick and quality care, allowing you to return to your daily activities promptly.

How does it all work?

Simple. When you need medical assistance, you come to us or contact us through modern communication channels (Viber, WhatsApp…).

What does a typical patient visit to our clinic look like on a walk-in basis:

In our clinic, we understand that health needs can arise suddenly and that it is not always possible to schedule an appointment in advance. Therefore, we have established a walk-in principle to ensure that all patients can receive the necessary medical care whenever it is needed.

In our clinic, the walk-in principle allows accessible, quick, and efficient medical care without the need for prior scheduling. Our goal is to provide all patients with quality care when they need it most.

  1. Arrival at the clinic

Reception: The patient arrives at the clinic and is received by a nurse/technician.

Registration: The patient fills out a short form (if not already completed online before arrival) with personal information and a brief description of symptoms or the reason for the visit. If the patient has visited the clinic before, their existing information is checked.

  1. Waiting for the examination

Waiting area: The patient waits in a comfortable waiting area until called for the examination. Waiting time may vary depending on the number of patients and the current occupancy of the clinic, but we strive to minimize waiting.

Waiting information: Staff will inform you about the estimated waiting time and available services during the wait (e.g., access to water, magazines, Wi-Fi).

  1. Examination by the doctor

Call for examination: When it is your turn, a nurse or technician will call you and take you to the doctor’s office.

Consultation and examination: The doctor will talk to you about your symptoms, medical history, and conduct a physical examination. Depending on the symptoms, the doctor may order additional tests (e.g., rapid tests, ultrasound).

  1. Additional procedures or testing

Laboratory tests: If necessary, the patient will be referred for laboratory testing within the clinic. Results of some tests, such as rapid tests, are available within minutes.

Diagnostic procedures: For more detailed diagnostics, it is possible to perform an ultrasound or other diagnostic procedures as instructed by the doctor.

  1. Completion of the examination and further instructions

Review of results and therapy: After the examination and testing, the doctor will explain the results and recommend further treatment or therapy. You may be prescribed therapy, recommended further specialist processing, or advised on lifestyle changes.

Departure: After the examination, the patient can immediately return home or, if necessary, be referred for further specialist care.

  1. Payment and exit

Payment for services: Upon departure, the patient returns to the reception where payment for services is made. Our clinic accepts various forms of payment.

Scheduling further examinations: If necessary, the staff can help you schedule further appointments or follow-up examinations.
